LIGHT BULBS

Tenants are responsible for replacing the light bulbs in their apartments.
You can use any bulb you like while you live here as long as it’s safe.
When the apartment is returned to us all the bulbs in the light fixtures will need work and match this list below or they will need to be replaced.

For some reason professionals call these things lamps.
Most people refer to them as light bulbs or just BULBS.

The Iliad uses a variety of very specific light bulbs.
When shopping locally, it may be helpful to bring the dead bulb with you
Order bulbs online using your favorite search engine or these websites .

These local retailers will have some if not all of the correct bulbs.

There are many different kinds of bulbs.
Here is one of many color charts
LED ~ Florescent ~ Halogen ~ Incandescent
There are many different colors
 ~ Black ~ Green ~ White ~ Clean  ~
And many shades of yellow, beige or dinge.
The lower the K number the more yellow the light will appear.

The light bulb industry has been slowly transitioning from CFL to LED

Bulbs will shine for a specific amount of hours and die.
Therefore, we recommend replacing bulbs in sets.
If one bulb in a light fixture dies, the other{s} are likely to follow fairly soon.

The Kitchen Ceiling Puff Lights Require
4 foot T8 florescent Tubes or LED Tubes.
The color should be 6500K or DX or Daylight
But anything above 3500K would be ok.
They should all be the same color shape and wattage.

The Halls & Bedrooms Fixtures Require
60 watt equivalent LED or CFL
They should be 2700K in color temperature
100 watt equivalent is ok as long as the bulbs match.
They should all be the same color shape and wattage.

The Stove & Refrigerator Require
A 40 watt incandescent Appliance Bulb

The Micro Hood Requires
~ A variety of Specialty incandescent Bulbs ~
Remove and examine before replacing this bulb

The Bathroom Light Bars Require
40 or 60 watt equivalent "Globe Bulbs" in LED or CFL
They should be 2700K to 3500K in color temperature
They should all be the same color shape and wattage.

The Bathroom Heat Lamp Require
Two 250 Watt Clear Heat Lamp Reflector Bulbs
They should be the same color shape and wattage.

The Living Room Track Lighting Require 
LED GU10 50 watt Equivalent Bulbs
 They should be 27000K or 3500K in color temperature
They should all be the same color shape and wattage.

Please remember florescent bulbs, the CFLs contain mercury.
The city of Seattle does not collect bulbs but the Iliad does.
Put your bulbs in the recycle room bulb container.
We also collect batteries for the same reason.
